Re-Designed: Glossy

Glossy ended up being a good, versatile theme that looks a bit like a magazine although it is actually a regular classical blog feed theme. This became clear once the header area was tackled. The problem was that the area designated for the logo was much too narrow and also here too the original creator used a bitmap logo which had to be replaced by a font. Other than that, all the usual typographic chnages, turning a lot of things into uppercase and getting some sort of font consistency. One thing that is really nice about Glossy is the 3 column footer as well as how easily the comment area on the post footer can be designed - with some themes this area is a nightmare, but with this one I got a good result, I think.

Important! 3rd party responsive Blogger themes have a lot of quirks that you will have to fix which come about every time that you restore a theme.
