Re-Designed: Breeze

Another blog feed, but this one has a changing background of images which is very nice - once you put images that do not completely eat up your actual content which is what, unfortunately, the original creator seems to have done. So, that was in fact the very first thing that I did, changed the background images to something quite neutral. In the original there are widgets on the side, which I would have kept, except that whatever tried I could not get the widget contents to separate themselves from the edges. No amount of padding, applied to a million different widget settings inside the HTML editor would do the trick. So, I decided to get rid of them and instead have a really wide blog content area - 1200 pixels no less. (This you can change by searching for 1200px inside the HTML editor where you will be likely to find it around line 987.) But, this actually ended up looking quite nice, so hopefully you will be able to use it like this.

Outside of these structural changes a lot of typography changed and all the color details became grayscale and the avatar picture changed to something a bit more symbolic. How you can replace all the background images and the gravatar is explained in a text file included in the zipped folder.

Important! 3rd party responsive Blogger themes have a lot of quirks that you will have to fix which come about every time that you restore a theme. So, this is not something that I can resolve with my tweak, there are some things that you, the end user, has to take care of before the theme is fully operational. To find out what these are and how to fix them, please make sure you look at the Instructions Page > > > right after you install the theme.
