This is a tweak that I am really proud of. I went out on a limb with using different weighted strokes to separate the different sections and I think that this has worked out really well in giving the structure the solidity that was missing from the original. I replaced all the fonts which were all Montserrat, mostly used in lowercase and with a pale grey (why? - this is something else that I have a very hard time figuring out when I do these tweaks - don't they want people to see the stuff clearly?) My replacement font is Saira, used in a nice dark almost black grey, or white if it is on a dark background. And also, used mostly in uppeercase with headers. The beauty of Saira is that it also has a condensed version which can be put to excellent use for body fonts, and that is what I did. All the colors are gone as you can see below in the rollover, making room for the actual colored photographs. And, again, I made the layout wider.
Once the issues with it were resolved this has turned out to be a magnificent magazine theme with many differently structured sectioıns, one nicer than the other. So, if yo are on the lookout for a magazine theme this is one that I would highly recommend.
Important! 3rd party responsive Blogger themes have a lot of quirks that you will have to fix which come about every time that you restore a theme. So, this is not something that I can resolve with my tweak, there are some things that you, the end user, has to take care of before the theme is fully operational. To find out what these are and how to fix them, please make sure you look at the Instructions Page > > > right after you install the theme.
