A magazine theme that comes with lots and lots of different widgets that you can fill with different labels. Very very nice, actually. The major issue was the lack of structure which I tried to fix by adding long horizontal strokes that join the contents of the main area to the sidebar. And another thing that helps bring things together is the widened blog which I sized up to 1300 pixels wide from 1200, but even those added 100 pixels improved things, giving the many widgets a better foothold across the layout. I also made the thumbnails wider on some of the widgets, again in order to give the layout a better horizontal hold. And then the final thing in terms of structural improvement was to make many of the smaller widget titles uppercase since uppercase provides a much better x-height.

The original template uses a sans serif font called Inter which I exchanged for Work Sans, a font that works very well both in uppercase as well as lowercase. The post font is now Roboto. But basically, I did not deviate all too much from the original typography - only exchanged one sans serif with two others that I really do think work better in terms of good baselines and toplines. You can see the changes in the two side by side screenshots above.

Important! 3rd party responsive Blogger themes have a lot of quirks that you will have to fix which come about every time that you restore a theme. So, this is not something that I can resolve with my tweak, there are some things that you, the end user, has to take care of before the theme is fully operational. To find out what these are and how to fix them, please make sure you look at the Instructions Page > > > right after you install the theme.
